Dear me, everybody should be able to make some music. That’s the cosmic dance!
-Harold and Maude, written by Colin Higgins.
My mom recently prompted me to come up with a word for this year. In the past, my words have been simplicity, create etc. This year, I have decided upon the word cosmic.
I thought of the quote above from my favorite movie, Harold and Maude. To make music is to be able to relate to the earth, and to each other.
I want to focus on the connectedness of humankind. In times that it seems the universe’s goal is to separate us all and frighten us into our boxes, it is important to see how we are similar. We are a part of the cosmos. We are all connected to one another’s emotions, actions, ideas. We are connected to the moon and the stars, and the earth.
The universe is vast, our minds are endless, our lives and impacts are infinite.
