On Tuesdays, we drink tea. Tuesday mornings are for me to drink tea, and chat with you guys about something going on in my brain that I’d love to have a conversation about.
This week on Tuesdays with Hannah, I want to talk about tunes!
I love music. I listen to it while cleaning, writing, while in the car, etc. I love hearing music suggestions from people so I thought I’d share some with you all. Leave your favorite songs in the comments below and I’ll be sure to listen to them!
Here are the top songs I have on repeat this week:
1. Right Now- HAIM
This song just feels good to listen to. I have yet to get sick of it, and don’t think I will. Their whole new album, Something To Tell You, is all so good. I can’t believe I haven’t listened to their music before this summer!
2. Praying- Kesha
Honestly, I was never a huge fan of Kesha, but when I heard this song I fell in love right away. It makes me feel so many emotions. It is so empowering. I literally have woken up the past few mornings with this song stuck in my head.
3. Feel It Still- Portugal. The Man
I.Love.This.Song. It is the best song to dance to. I’ve listened to it so many times while I’ve been packing and cleaning lately. I can’t help but smile and jump around when it comes on.
And I can’t have my first post about music without including a song from my favorite band:
4. No Hard Feelings- The Avett Brothers
This one is definitely a different feel from Feel it Still. The first verse almost made me cry the first time I listened to it. I’ve been in love with The Avett Brothers since my sister introduced me to their music years ago. Their new album, True Sadness, has not disappointed me. I’ve yet to listen to any of their songs and not like it.
A few years ago when my fiancé and I first met, we bonded over our mutual love for this band. It was the first concert we saw together in Ohio. We even have “a song”, I and Love and You. I was so happy when they played it at the very end of their concert we went to!
I even talked him into getting matching Avett shirts!
Give these tunes a listen and let me know what you think of them! I’d love to hear what songs you’ve got on repeat too, so let me know!
