My Top 5 Skincare Must-Haves

I’ve always been intrigued by skincare products. So much so that I never really stuck to one type or brand.

Clearer skin is something I’ve been focused on the past few months, so I’ve tried a lot of different products. I want to share a little post with you about what I’ve been using and loving lately for my skin!

Here’s what you should know first. I choose to take very little time out of my day for skincare. All of these products are easy to use and are very simple in general. It’s nothing too fancy but it works for me so maybe it will work for you too! Let me know if you give any of these products a try!

Here are my favorites that I’ve been consistently using:

1. Glossier milky jelly cleanser

I use this whenever I shower! I can’t say whether I use it in the morning or at night because I don’t have a consistent shower schedule. Anyway, this cleanser is so silky smooth and works really well. It leaves my skin soft and I’ve definitely noticed clearer skin since I began using it a few months ago.

2. Glossier priming moisturizer

I use this at night if my face is feeling dry. It makes my skin a bit too glossy to wear during the day for my taste, so I use this one at night and the Lush moisturizer during the day. I’m careful not to use moisturizer every day though so my skin doesn’t think it can/should stop producing its own oils and dry out.

You can get these two products along with a balm in one package too on their site! Their products come in cute pink bubble wrap reusable bags. I reuse them to hold my make up. They’re perfect for traveling!

3. Lush tea tree water spray

This stuff makes my face feel so clean. It doesn’t dry it out either which I love. I get so bothered by dry-feeling skin. It’s so easy to use, so I don’t get too lazy to use it all day. I grew up using tea tree oil for anything and everything so this is a sweet spot for me.

4. Lush vanishing cream

Like I mentioned previously, I wear this during the day either alone or it works well under make up too! It feels so smooth and doesn’t make my skin oily. This stuff also has a hint of lavender, which, if you’ve read some of my other posts, you’ll know I’m obsessed with lavender.

5. Frankincense oil

At night, I put a drop of frankincense essential oil on any spots where a pimple may be appearing. I also use it to get rid of scars too!

*Also, I drink a lot of water! This helps with clearer, healthier skin. My number one tip for basically anything is to drink water, and skincare is no different.

So those are the things I use day and night on my face! Let me know if you use any of these products.
